wild rose french toast.


 I was very excited to receive my package from America Village recently. I have never tried pine or wild rose syrup before (well that I'm aware of anyway!) so I opened the beautifully packaged parcel as soon as it arrived and put them to use straight away for our breakfast. 

wild rose french toast
(mixture for 4 slices)
2 medium eggs
2 tbsp of sugar
1/2 cup of milk
2 tsp of wild rose syrup
1 knob of butter

Whisk together the egg and sugar. Beat in the milk and syrup. Soak the slices of bread on each side. Melt butter in the frying pan and fry each slice on medium heat for 3-4 minutes. Drizzle a little more wild rose syrup and serve with fruit.
