tinsel wreath diy.

If you read this blog regularly (or even not so regularly!), you might know that I'm a fan of inexpensive DIY projects. This cheap and easy tinsel wreath DIY cost me less than €10 mainly because I used the leftover decorations from our Christmas tree and some gift wrapping supplies I already had.

Using the bottom of an old circular frame from a lamp shade, I wrapped tinsel around it, securing it at the start and end with some beading wire and made sure it was fully covered.

Next I threaded beading wire through all the baubles I was using, about 10cm in length and secured each bauble to the tinsel frame and concealed the wire at the back.

Then I cut two lengths of leftover red ribbon, glued a piece of narrow, glittery ribbon to the front of one and then using a hot glue gun, glued the ribbon to the back of the wreath.

Lastly, I threaded some glittery ribbon through the top of the circular frame, tied a knot and hung it up...Ta-dah!
