DIY chocolate & sprinkles strawberries.

Nancy's 1st birthday party is next week and I've been doing a little planning for it (obvs!). There's a theme for the party (totes obvs!) but that's top secret at the moment! What I will share with you though is a few of the treats we'll have for people to nibble on and I promise not to use anymore abbreviations! Here's how to make chocolate & sprinkles strawberries:

First, wash and dry the strawberries and place them on a sheet of baking paper. Break up some cooking chocolate into a bowl and melt in the microwave for 2 minutes, stirring occasionally. Prepare a bowl of sprinkles too.

Once the chocolate is melted start dipping the strawberries into the chocolate. (I found they looked nicer if you don't cover the entire strawberry in chocolate.) Place the chocolate strawberries back on the baking paper and let the chocolate set just a little bit. When the chocolate is hardening but still sticky, dip the strawberries into the sprinkles. Place back on the baking paper for about one hour. Then serve!

A really easy treat to make for any party and they look so pretty and colourful. Also, they'll keep overnight in the fridge but they do taste better fresh. I'll have some more treats that I'll be making and "testing" for the party so stay tuned!
