Last week I was invited to my friend Jill's birthday party at her flower studio just outside Cork city. It was another glorious summer's day and my boyfriend Louis was free to babysit Nancy for a few hours so I headed down to celebrate with the birthday girl and some friends. It wasn't your usual birthday party though, we spent the evening making flower crowns while drinking prosecco out of vintage china and eating some delicious cupcakes. Every crown, headband and fascinator looked amazing in the end and it was just one of those perfect evenings!

Jill's studio, Wild Floral Couture is a team of professional, freelance florists led by Jill. The team have over 17 years experience and their style is so unique and imaginative. Not only do they provide designs for your wedding or event, but you can also attend classes and workshops if you fancy yourself a bit of a florist too! I was also drooling over her ever growing collection of vintage props in the studio while munching on my cupcake so I was a little bit sad when I had to leave to put Nancy to bed!

Have a peek at Wild Floral Couture as well as their Facebook page. I'm seriously thinking about attending one of the workshops, I just have to finalise it with the babysitter again!
